This tour visits the MTB courses and panoramic sites of Cappadocia. We will ride some parts of ‘’the 2007 European Mountain Bike Championship‘’ course and the cross-country course in Uçhisar town.
We will start the day at 9:00 a.m., leaving from either your hotel or our office. First, we will visit Uçhisar town, which is famous for its castle and amazing views of Cappadocia. There is a cross-country racecourse in Pigeon Valley, where we will make a loop and visit Zemi Valley, one of the best rides in Cappadocia! (In fact, the valley is known as ‘’the pump track of Cappadocia.’’)It offers smooth-flowing single-track trails that travel under poplar trees. Then we will continue to the 2007 European XC Cup course through Görkündere. This course is like a natural BMX track, with lots of rocks and lines. Next, we will ride up to Red Valley to have lunch and take in one of the best views of Cappadocia!
After lunch, we will climb to Bozdağ Mountain. It’s not an easy route but it’s possible to bike up there (or hike with a bike )in around 15 minutes! Bozdağ is the highest point in the national park. There, we can spend time taking pictures and enjoying the views. A nice, long single-track trail is up there. We will also experience a nice single track downhill to Çavuşin. At the end of the day, we will ride to Rose Valley to enjoy stunning views and relax in a nice cafe. We can also visit the region’s caves and rock-cut churches .We will finish the day by returning to Göreme!
